Pending council approval the MAC (whose offices are currently located in Salemtown) would appropriate grant funds totaling $251,000 with a cash match of $145,000 for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program to provide financial assistance with heating/cooling costs and budget counseling for its eligible customers. According to the council analysis this increases the total amount of the grant award to $13,557,584.
