Won't Even Go to the Cave Where He Lives

One of the quotes MSNBC is reporting from Barack Obama's yet to be delivered speech:
John McCain says he will follow Osama bin Laden to the gates of hell, but he won't even follow him to the cave where he lives.
That's exactly the sort of offensive that Obama needs to mount. It's the line of attack that I've been waiting for the whole convention. If it comes from the nominee, then all the better.

  2. A veteran who served with honor, John Kerry, said:

How desperate to tell the son of a single mother who chose community service over money and privilege that he doesn't put America first.

Fortunately, we don't live under the iron fist of a third-world military junta. We live in a constitutional democracy. Not only do the people decide that civilians control the military, but the constitution mandates it. Presidents have never had to serve and leaders who are also veterans should not be immune from criticism on foreign policy just because they served in the military.

And in the end, Obama has been more than a community organizer. He rose from modest circumstances and made a successful career as a lawyer. He was an elected state Senator. He is an elected U.S. Senator from one of the largest states in the union. And he is now the Democratic nominee for president running a competitive race against a man who did serve and who was rebuked by a Senate Ethics Committee for exercising "poor judgment," regardless of his service.

  3. Hey, Bill I.

Obama never served? He never signed statements against his country either.

    John McCain is a coward.
