AP Calls Georgia for McCain 5% ahead of Obama; Chambliss Forced into Run-off

With 99% of the precincts reporting, McCain's big lead of last night was practically halved by counting Atlanta's metro county votes after poll workers there were sent home at 2 this morning for some rest.

More importantly, counting those votes reduced Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss's lead and forced a run-off with his Democratic challenger, who is now looking to see how strong Obama's coattails are. There continue to be uncounted votes in the Atlanta area.
