Clearly Discernable Pattern with GOP CEO Steele

On Monday, I underscored new GOP Chair Michael Steele's asinine attempt to discredit the stimulus bill by contrasting private industry "jobs" (good) to government "work" (bad). It was like some bad Philosophy 101 rationalizing that I can remember from college days.

Until now it had completely slipped my mind that Steele pulled a similar boner during last year's presidential campaign in an attempt to discredit Barack Obama's community organizing background. On HBO's Bill Maher show, he contrasted community organizations to "real non-profits," insinuating that community organizations were not really non-profits.

Obviously, this guy's playbook is busting with strategies of false dichotomy.
