The TerraPass calculation allows either 4,000 (hybrid) or 6,000 (economy) mi per year, not 5,000. Since my annual mileage is actually closer to 4,000 than to 6,000, I rounded down to hybrid. But it doesn't hurt if you want to call my SUV an economy car, either, although I need 7,000 more miles to put me squarely in the economy category.S-townMikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05948307051485318061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10635442.post-1160480527688325192006-10-10T06:42:00.000-05:002006-10-10T06:42:00.000-05:00Something doesnt make sense here. 205 gallons for ...Something doesnt make sense here. 205 gallons for 5,000 miles works out to about 24mpg. The site says hybrids are 41+mpg.

Do you really get that kind of mileage driving in town? The numbers on the Terra Pass website for a 2006 Wrangler show something well under 20 for city driving.

How do you do it?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10635442.post-1160415090354675882006-10-09T12:31:00.000-05:002006-10-09T12:31:00.000-05:00Thanks for the reminder about this: I've been mean...Thanks for the reminder about this: I've been meaning to sign up and now I finally have.
