an article on a study that shows men use sarcasm more than women. Perhaps then, it is no accident that
men use the internet--perhaps the premium medium for sarcasm--more than women. But women are catching up. Could they be catching up in this medium because they
make sarcasm count as a social weapon when they use it? Might men be using sarcasm in archaic displays of alpha maleness, while women put it to more coldly efficient use, defining who's in and who's out of this community?
