While at the Public Square dedication on Sunday, I was approached by a Harold Ford volunteer, who asked me if I would like to wear one of Ford's campaign stickers. I politely declined by saying, "I don't think it would adhere to me too well. I'm much more liberal than Ford. I'll be voting for him, but my heart's not in wearing his sticker."
Today I
read what has to be the best quote in this Senatorial campaign, and it comes from Ford:
I'm not going to take a lecture on morality from a party that took hush money from a child predator [Mark Foley, R-FL].
All of the sudden, I feel stickier.
