Mayor Reserves the Right to Decide Whether Crafton's English Only Bill Becomes Law

Mayor Bill Purcell told NewsChannel5 tonight:

Truthfully, [English First has] been divisive and distracting, I think, to the whole city. So what we're gonna do, very carefully, is look at it, make a determination about what it does, and then do what a mayor is supposed to do, and that is decide whether it should become law or not.
Let's hope for "not." My letter to the Mayor requesting a veto is in the mail.
