Former Local Senate Candidate Off the Reservation?

Has Republican Bob Krumm turned to partisan red meat over dialogue with moderate and progressive bloggers? Embracing comparisons with a lightning rod who draws cartoons on the side does not seem to be a good way to dispel perceptions that the highly-touted candidate--who was supposed to bring balance back to the force (or so Obi-Wan Kenobi told me)--is becoming more shrill and mean in his conservative scatter-shooting. Is he attempting to lock down a perceived base for some future run or does he miss the attention lavished on him during his 2006 campaign against Senator Doug Henry?
