Salemtown Mentioned in Public Television Documentary on Sulphur Dell Ballpark

One of the players who was with the Negro Southern League's Nashville Cubs in 1947 mentioned Salemtown as his home neighborhood in tonight's broadcast of "Memories of Sulphur Dell" on Channel 8. He talked about how he enjoyed getting recognition in Salemtown after leaving games at Sulphur Dell.
