Parks Follows Though on Threat to Close and Contends for Worst 2007 Metro Service

Metro Parks now has to be considered a nominee for 2007 Worst Metro Services. They are going to follow through with their threat to the Metro Council to close community centers, including Morgan Park's, on Saturdays after not getting the budget they wanted.

Either they are callous toward urban neighborhoods or they simply fail to understand the dynamics of bored urban youth on weekends.
