No Word on Whether Salemtown/MetroCenter Starbucks is among Increased Closures

According to MSNBC, Starbucks has increased the number of stores it plans to close from 100 to 600.  The Salemtown/MetroCenter Starbucks has one thing going for it and one thing going against it:

1. Starbucks will be closing stores close to other Starbucks stores
2. Starbucks will be closing stores that opened more recently

Closures will begin in late July.
