A Slight and Misdirected Nod

I guess I should be thankful that the Institute for Southern Studies finally noticed Nashville's controversial English Only Vote in January, but I was expecting something a little more profound than an afterthought. I still believe that this local urban vote will test the author's previous hypothesis that the South is something more progressive than a bigoted conservative backwater.
