Sean Braisted is irked that nobody in Washington is bothering to challenge the assumption that only non-defense spending should be cut. Defense spending is just as susceptible to waste and pork as is non-defense, and only cynical scoundrels would call advocates of wise and temperate defense spending based on realistic threats "unpatriotic."
