TVA Ash Spill Has Tainted the Mighty Tennessee River

According to the Knoxville paper:

Heavy rains on May 4 caused the river's waters to swell, with flows reaching 70,000 cubic feet per second. Ash, sediment and debris washed from the spill site, which is about three miles from the Emory River's confluence with the Clinch River. The ash turned the rivers gray.

The roosters just keep coming home.
