The $400,000 Question, Still Unanswered

Will Jack May and his family keep their promise to donate part of their Bells Bend holdings (worth a cool $400K) to Tennessee State University for an agricultural research facility even though they have withdrawn their proposal for May Town Center?

UPDATE: MTC point man Tony Giarratana tells the Nashville Business Journal:

May Town Center is an important issue for Nashville-Davidson County, but particularly critical for North Nashville and Tennessee State University ....

Is he suggesting that the TSU donation depends upon building MTC? Why else would MTC be critical for TSU if the donation is going to be made as promised whether MTC is built or not?
