Perhaps he is looking for something that the news media is not reporting

Mike Peden relates the following observations of Karl Dean's economic development director during Tuesday night's council meeting:

last night I was sitting in the gallery at the Council and [Alexia] Poe came up to [council-at-Large candidate] Ken Jakes and introduced herself. She said "I understand you have asked to see all of my emails. What are you looking for?"

  1. Or perhaps she wanted to talk to him face to face to see what his concerns are about a particular issue or what he was inquiring about so they could have a professional adult conversation regarding his concerns.

  2. I hope he told her none of her buisness, or better yet ask her what are you afraid I am going to see.

  3. Anon. Or perhaps she wanted to talk to him face to face to see what his concerns are about a particular issue or what he was inquiring about so they could have a professional adult conversation regarding his concerns.

If that were the case, she would have invited him to contact her after he read the Emails to discuss any questions or concerns that he may have.

    Shhhhh. B Berry, berry quiet.....
Don't let Mz. McCune know that a public official spoke to and asked a question of a citizen. The last thing we need is her running up and down the halls of the court house screaming "Citizens arrest, Citizens arrest!!" like Gomer Pyle.

  4. When has the Mayor's Office ever treated those who question, analyze, or oppose its decisions as adults?

The facts that don't fit the Dean script usually have to be exposed by open records requests.

  5. The entire staff of the Mayors office has been submitted an open records request, Mayor included.

The upcoming days and weeks should be very enlightening.

Could we see more ethics complaints filed?

Will Metro legal actually take a stance against those that are found to be in the wrong?

    One thing is for sure.
The Mayors office has managed to step on enough Nashvillians to make them stand up and fight back.

Stay tuned, This is going to get even more interesting in the days and weeks to come.
