Because it has posted the highest reduction in crime among the six Metro Police Precincts, Central Precinct (whose beat includes Downtown and the North End) has been named "Precinct of the Year." The Precinct of the Year ceremony is scheduled for April 30, Monday, 6 pm at the First Baptist Church, 6th and Broadway. Congrats to our neighborhood cops!
