Council Resolution on State Grant for Jeff Street Improvements

On Tuesday, the Metro Council can vote to accept a state grant of up to $920,808 (with a required match of $481,203) designated for improvements to Jefferson street intersections from Rosa Parks to 28th Avenue. The sponsor is Emily Evans.

The intersection improvements to be funded with this grant include signalization, lighting, turn lanes, pavement markings, and updated crosswalks .... This intersection improvement project is to be completed not later than June 30, 2013.
