Metro Council TVA resolution will be one for Corker to scoff at
Six Metro Council members will introduce a memorializing resolution next week asking the Tennessee Valley Authority not to raise Davidson County ratepayers' electric rates to fund the Kingston coal ash spill clean-up.

Corker is a nut. Why Roane County isn't eligible for Superfund cleanup monies is a mystery to me. If this had happened at a privately-owned utility, say someone like American Electric Power or Duke Energy, you know, someone who gave him couple thousand dollars for his campaign, well I wonder what tune he'd be singing then.
