Bush's Law Now Lets Government Listen to Your Phone Calls to England and Read Your E-mails to Canada

Any limits on government intrusion into your private communications with friends and family overseas have been further eroded with the Bush Administration legalizing un-warranted wiretaps. The National Security Agency can monitor any American's overseas' correspondence within a legal framework and without going to a court to get a search warrant, thanks to nothing more than George W. Bush's signature. Big brother is watching.

UPDATE: Actually, there was a little more than President Bush's sig. The U.S. House passed the bill 227-183 before the signing. Our U.S. Representative, Jim Cooper, was among the 227 who rubber-stamped Big Brother's surveillance. Fellow Democratic Congressman from West Tennessee, Steve Cohen, was among the 183 voting against it.
