Privatized Meters May Constitute Conflict of Interest
Last night I referred you to a Trib story on Chicago privatizing its parking meters, which result in parking fee hikes. Today the Consumerist refers us to a Sun-Times story that underscores a conflict of interest should the contractor feel the need to affect tougher parking enforcement in order to "protect" its revenue stream.
