Belmont Could Learn a Thing or Two from Lesley
Instead of pushing through building projects without regard for input from the surrounding neighborhood, a Cambridge, Mass. university asked neighbors for feedback on the design of a dorm and ended up getting hyper-local support for a larger growth project, as neighbors actually petitioned city officials to help the university build what it needed. In return, the neighborhood got buildings that were consistent with the feel of their community.
