Supreme Court Seems to Be Moving against Metro Nashville for Employee Protection
SCOTUSblog has a detailed recap of the arguments on both sides of Crawford v. Metro Government of Nashville, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court Justices' line of questioning, which blogger Kristina Moore argues, seems to indicate a court headed toward stronger protection of employees against employer retaliation for their participation or failure to participate in investigations. The Court seems to see some of the Metro Nashville attorney's arguments against Vicky Crawford, a former Metro Nashville school system employee, as "preposterous."
