Metro Council Lets Mayoral Veto of News Rack Regulation Stand
Looks like the mainstream print media put the Metro Council in its pocket along with the Mayor and gave the neighborhoods the back of its hand. Vice Mayor Howard Gentry just announced at the beginning of tonight's meeting that the recent Mayoral veto of the bill to regulate the out-of-control placement on public sidewalks would stand without any objection from anyone besides Ludye Wallace, who says he will pursue some sort of legal action.
