Metro Youth Services So Far Unresponsive to Salemtown Teen Shot Friday Night

According to the parents of the teenager wounded by suspected gang members late Friday night, Metro detectives have still not followed up with them to gather information on the incident. The Central Precinct Community Affairs Officer told the association at last night's business meeting that the initial report had been turned over to Metro Youth Services (directed by Captain Marlene Pardue). So, why is Youth Services taking their sweet time investigating a case where witnesses claim to know the shooter as the case grows stale?
