Whipped Rex Should Know What Council Members are in the Dean Dog House

The City Paper is sucked up so hard on Mayor Karl Dean's coattails that they could see plainly those CMs who are similarly latched right next to them as well as the unclamped. Southcomm holds no punches for the previous Mayor but it seems averse to getting on the bad side of the current regime, lest it end up out of the loop. They look beholden and whipped. Mayor Dean has received a free ride so far with very little flack from the media (relative to say the Metro Council, which seems odd given that Metro is an executive-strong form of governance), even though it hasn't been a smooth ride.
