Tornado Warning Just Issued for Davidson County

From radar maps, it looks like a tornado-bearing "super cell" is headed dead on for Downtown Nashville via Fairview, Bellevue, and Woodbine. We are right in the line of fire.


UPDATE: Due in Downtown at 9:30. Tornado sirens sounding at 9:10.


UPDATE: Nickel-sized hail falling sporatically in Salemtown at 9:30.


UPDATE: Wall-cloud being reported in Downtown Nashville by News 2 at 9:38.


UPDATE: Eerily quiet in Salemtown at 9:45, except for tornado sirens still sounding.


UPDATE: The Tennessean reported a tornado in Downtown at 9:45.

  1. We heard something large and windy blow through Bellevue around 9:20-ish. Sounded like a godzilla-sized dishwasher scooted down Hwy 100 towards Belle Meade. Scared the daylights out of my dogs who normally don't bat an eye to rain, hail, etc.
