Sarah Palin's Collaborations with Ted "Road-To-Nowhere" Stevens

The Republicans can no longer distance their presumptive VP nominee from connections to indicted ethical invertebrate, Senator Ted Stevens. Sarah Palin has several rather close working relationships with Senator Stevens:

[Palin] ... held a joint news conference with him in July, before he was indicted, to make clear she had not abandoned him politically.

Stevens had been helpful to Palin during her run for governor, swooping in with a last moment endorsement. And the two filmed a campaign commercial together to highlight Stevens's endorsement of Palin during the 2006 race.
Here is the video of the glowing endorsement, which was removed from the Palin website after John McCain took her as his VP:

Palin also worked as director of a Stevens fundraising organization from 2003 to 2005. She's a director of a 527 organization dedicated to Ted Stevens and she has no direct, working connections to him? C'mon, Republicans. What do you think we are? Dolts?

UPDATE: Republican lawyers go to Alaska to do the deeper vet that the McCain campaign failed to do:

  1. Every rose has thorns.

Miss Congeniality is as dirty as a day is long. That, coupled with being a dingbat makes her the perfect Republican.
Family dysfunction (nothing major but still) and her ability to lie with a smile on her face are exactly the characteristics we see in a vast majority of those who identify themselves as "Republicans" or "Social Conservatives".

I've got my popcorn and dope for the VP debate, you guys ready?
    Don't forget to record.
This will be like Mike Tyson debating Socrates.
