BREAKING: Planning Moves Thursday's LED Workshop to August 13

From LED Task Force member Burkley Allen at the Nashville Neighborhoods e-list:
I just got word that the Planning Commission has moved the special
workshop about the LED sign bill to August 13 before their regularly
scheduled meeting.

I'm not sure why, but I'll keep you posted on further developments.
Did Commissioners feel that having to do this alongside Bells Bend and the West Nashville Community Plan would make them too tired?

  1. Is the meeting being held at this time so that Charlie Tygard and Jim Gotto can dominate the discussion and make sure that they have their votes before the regular meeting? That way there may not be much discussion at the televised meeting and no one will be too tired to vote (aka Diane Neighbors' committees).

What time is the meeting? If it is before 4pm, what citizen with a job could actually attend?

If Tygard is involved -BEWARE. Maybe he wants to add an amendment so that the pristine forest on the Hill property can have a few signs. That crazy man wants the option to build a school on the Hill property.
