Gardens of Babylon started not too long ago as a small, but popular, family-owned nursery and landscaping consulting business near 5 Points in the East End. It moved to Farmers Market in the North End a few months ago and has found an even larger niche here than it did among the 5 Points neighborhoods.
Now comes word that Gardens is currently in the running for the landscaping contract at the new Morgan Park Place. This is exciting news, and I’m personally pulling for Mark Kerske and sons to land it. The bulk of our flora comes from Gardens, and they give great advice for landscaping projects. Whether or not they do get the Park Place contract, it's great to have Gardens as a North End institution.
