Bicentennial Mall Area Development Delayed And Reconsidered
According to this morning's Nashville City Paper, Harrison Lofts, which was to be built on the site where the old Sulphur Dell ballpark used to sit, will not emerge as planned. The developer reports that he had no problem stirring up potential buyers to live in the Lofts (50% had been reserved). Instead, the rising costs of concrete and steel seem to have made him skittish about the original plans. He looks now to either sell or scale back the development.
