Tennessean's Cass Kicked Southcomm's Rau's Butt on Council Convention Center Consideration Coverage

Michael Cass not only filed a conventional story in today's paper on the Mayor's appearance before a Metro Council committee to sell his convention center idea, but he live tweeted the event as it unfolded yesterday here.  It was cool to be able to cover the committee meeting with Cass given the Vice Mayor's iron sluice of debate to committees rather than allowing it in regular Council meetings. I even retweeted a couple of Cass's Mike Jameson quotes.

If you were willing to wait to get your news, this was the best the Mayor Dean's own page at the City Paper could do. So much for evolution of media at Southcomm.
