It will be a great day when our schools get all the money they need and the air force has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber.
After reading a
NY Times article today--about a secret Pentagon finding that at least 80 percent of the marines killed in Iraq from wounds to their upper body could have survived with body armor that the Pentagon had but refused to give them--a contemporary redaction of the poster might be:
It will be a great day when our schools get all the money they need and military families do not have to hold a bake sale to buy some armor.
