Opening Day Pictures from the Greer Crater

The unannounced, big surprise that Metro bulldozers pulled on the Sounds just in time for Opening Day today, which is also Thirsty Thursday ($1 beer night; the most popular promotional night the Sounds offer), is documented below in pictures. They took out several rows of parking spaces except for several handicapped spaces and one of the two roads in and out of the main parking lot.

It looks like a traffic controllers' nightmare, especially the bottle neck in front of the ticket windows. We'll have to start calling that something snarky like the "Yeagermeister Bypass."

The shrewd ruthlessness of this still makes me chuckle; it is totally without ruth.
