Here's One for Those Folks Who Tell Me to Be Like Tennessee Farmers

I wasn't the only one sweating the effects of record cold on my new crops. Farmers didn't wait until after April 15 either.

    You do know I was just bustin chops about all this, right?

    Most of the farmers I talk with around here are old timers, who fully depend on the Almanac to determine when to do almost everything.

    I figured so. I am hearing the "what farmers know" from many quarters, even though I keep seeing stories about farmers planting too early and losing their crops in Tennessee.
