On the Crime Front: Looks Like Progress in Salemtown
On my way home this afternoon, I drove by a widely purported drug house in Salemtown (5th Av., north of Garfield) and saw that the house was empty, and work crews were stripping the vinyl siding, breaking windows, and gutting the dry wall. It looks like the suspected drug dealers are gone and that someone is renovating the house, which would be great news!

YEAH...They are gone. It's been sold to a developer that has done some great work in the area.
