Besides being a federal law breaker, resigned HUD chief, Alphonso Jackson, failed to respond to the looming housing crisis with effective policy and he stayed the course by encouraging legislation making it easier for federally backed lenders to loan to high-risk borrowers.
The Phonz was also extravagant, having a cook on HUD's staff and hiring a full-time security detail for himself (no doubt because the terrorists hate him for his freedom). Republican fiscal conservatism at work (along with your tax dollars) in the White House.
