Council Member Mike Jameson makes a public apology to Bill Purcell 180 degrees different to his criticism of the former Mayor in P.J. Tobia's piece, about which I posted this morning. In so doing, he sets himself apart from Charlie Tygard who is still in a post-Purcell apoplexy that is playing itself out in the form of LEDs, detached duplexes, and finally a library to go with the proposed Bellevue Mall (why is it always about Bellevue for the "at-Large" Council Member?).
And I've got to wonder: is Mayor Karl Dean in some way--consciously, subconsciously or unconsciously--enabling the manifestation of previously pent-up, now misdirected council rage?
