Less than 24 Hours until Playoff Face-off and Tix Still Left?
Channel 4 reported tonight that the Nashville Predator's home game isn't sold out. It's not just any other match. It's their first playoff game at home possibly on the way to Lord Stanley's cup, and yet, the fans aren't motivated enough to pack the seats to the rafters with less than 24 hours until face-off? Tuesday night, the bill to authorize the new agreement that keeps the Preds here and Metro paying for them to stay is up for first reading, but if the Preds aren't wildly popular enough to boast that their play-off tickets are the hottest draw and the hardest to get at this point, how can Council pass this bill without substantial debate?
