Council Indefinitely Defers Bill to Meddle in the Health Department's Regulation of Chain Restaurants

Remember when CM Greg Adkins cast the tie breaking vote to give a micromanaging and probably Charter-violating bill to committees in order to give it a chance to be considered and discussed before being defeated? Well, Metro Council indefinitely deferred the bill tonight effectively, as CM Bo Mitchell argued, protecting the bill from probable defeat after going to committees. Oh, the games people play.
