CRIME ALERT: Armed Robbery in Germantown

This evening I was at Zackies in G-town for a hotdog for my kid, and I talked to the owner, Mike, who told me that there was an armed robbery right outside the Germantown Cafe on 5th Avenue, North yesterday. Two elderly women who were having Mother's Day brunch at the cafe left and headed north toward Monroe Street around noon. A car stopped beside them and two young African American males got out, one with a gun, and robbed them of their purses and a Blackberry in broad daylight. According to Mike, both suspects stood about 5'10" and they were teenage-looking. If I get any other descriptions of both the teens and the car, I'll pass them along.
