Metro Council Approves Mayor's Land Acquistion Bill
Ordinance, amended to include Eric Crafton's tracking website amendment, was passed overwhelmingly 33-3. Progressives either abstained (Jameson, Evans, and Holleman) or voted with the Mayor on spending $75 million to buy land Downtown. I guess building a convention center is a de facto progressive cause at the county level.
