The Social Construction of Rurality II

Little did I know, when I referred you to an NYTimes article earlier this week on the hamletification of rural parts south of Atlanta, that Christine Kreyling over at the Nashville Scene was about to publish her own article yesterday on a possible New Urbanism trend in Bells Bend and the seemingly slim prospect of "clusters," hamlets, and greenways being developed there.

Worth a read.

  1. S-town Mike, have you considered running for City Council?

  2. I wish you lived in my neighborhood. I'd vote for you in a heartbeat.

  3. Why, thank you very much for the vote of confidence. My guess is that you hold your own as a leader in your neighborhood.
