Tracking Earmarks by States and by Sponsors

Sunlight Foundation and Taxpayers for Common Sense have launched an "Earmark Tracking" website that allows the reader to see congressional earmarks by state and by sponsor. The search site welcomes earmark research contributions and comments. The Sunlight Foundation adds the moderate caveat on their website that just because a project is "earmarked" doesn't mean that it is "bad, or wasteful, or a payoff to a political contributor."
