Voiding and Hoarding the Better Part of the Morning

In a few minutes Metro Water is shutting down the tap on our block for the entire day so to do some work, so water sports have been the order of the day so far around here. The impending shut-off totally destroyed any late Saturday morning sack time anyone would have enjoyed around here. You begin to understand how thin the line is between developed and undeveloped living when you are forced to treat bathtubs like cisterns and to put back extra pitchers for drinking and hygiene and to make as many visits to the head as possible in the span of an hour or two.
