More on Last Night's Armed Robbery

According to Metro Police, the armed robbery that caused Morgan Park Community Center to be locked down last night actually occurred in Germantown across 8th Av. from Kroger. The suspect--a 19-20-year-old black male, 5'9", 150 lbs., wearing a hoodie with yellow writing on it--committed the robbery with a blue steel handgun in the lot of the 8th Avenue Market. He then fled into the Cheatham Place Public Housing Development to the north of Kroger. That is where K-9's lost his scent. Police say that no one at the Morgan Park Community Center was ever in any danger.
