Future Residential Development in Bell's Bend?
NashPo has a story on yesterday's $7.25 million sale of almost 500 acres of farmland in sparsely populated Bell's Bend (due west across the Cumberland River from Metro Center) to a development group that has already laid out plans for 1,200 homes there. Incidently, the Metro Parks System is in the process of preserving 808 acres in Bell's Bend as part of the city's greenway system.
