West Tennessee Saved
The Trans-Texas Corridor plan is dead. Memphis is spared a 1,200-foot-wide gash of toll roads, railways, and utility lines. Of course, TDOT is probably moving forward with other plans to build its own Tennessee toll roads. But at least west Tennessee won't have to sweat the most massive privatized public transportation project ever, the "NAFTA" Corridor.
