This Saturday, Jan. 10, the staff of Bells Bend Outdoor Center will be set up on Cleeces Ferry Rd. (off of Old Hickory Blvd) from 2-3pm with a spotting scope to look at the whooping cranes and answer any questions. So if you haven't seen the whooping cranes yet or you have but would like to see them again, stop by and maybe you'll learn something new about these endangered birds. What a rare opportunity rural Bells Bend provides city-dwellers to see an endangered species less than a half-an-hour's drive from Downtown Nashville.
